A club, not a training business.

Good Dog Agility Club is a membership of people in the Phoenix area who are active in, or interested in, the sport of dog agility.

We built this site as a resource for our members and for anyone curious about agility and having fun with their dogs. Inside you'll find information about the sport — from “what is it?” to “how do I get started?” — along with class and trial information and news about what's going on with the club.

Our mission

The mission of the Good Dog Agility Club training program is to provide high-quality training resources to club members interested in learning the sport of dog agility. To achieve this, we use only positive reinforcement training techniques and focus on the handler and dog relationship.

Our purpose

To make training affordable, accessible and enjoyable — from the beginning agility team to competitive, nationally recognized teams.

What that means in practice

We're a club rather than a commercial training business, and the difference shows up in ways that matter. Dues stay low because members do the work. The people teaching your class are the same people competing beside you at trials. And when we host a trial, every timer, scribe and bar setter is a member who volunteered.

We host three two-ring trials each year at Ida Redbird Elementary in Mesa, plus the USDAA Wild West Regional each January in Tucson.

Membership

Annual membership runs from September 1 to August 31 and is included with your class registration. To join, email the Secretary and she'll send you a membership application.
